Prevailing Leadership Styles in Change Management: Evidences from Existing Research

Purpose: To study the evidences from existing research regarding prevailing leadership styles in change management. Theoretical framework: The explored various by reviewing literature. It identified like Autocratic, Authoritarian, Bureaucratic, Laissez-Faire, etc. discusses importance and difference among styles. Design/Methodology/Approach: secondary literature used for analysis came previously published sources. SCOPUS, Dimensions, Google Scholar were databases to gather research. final group of publications was screened using “Preferred Reporting Items Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses-PRISMA” guidelines. Twenty different resources chosen more research, thematic extensively this investigation. Findings: findings indicate a correlation between two “change management”: transformational transactional leadership. conventional bureaucratic declined. Not only do results highlight styles, but they also show that employee motivation is key aspect every successful business. Research, Practical & Social implications: This article suggested highly engaged workforce essential success any management initiative. Eventually, it became clear most could be traced back theoretical frameworks Great Man theorists Kurt Lewin developed. Originality Value: an academic contribution allows understanding theory, Lewin’s paradigm having application principle contingency while implementing transformations.
